Pin of the Week Nov 25-Dec 2

If you're one that has to make lists of everything like I do... This would be a great idea.  I know I really need to make one, because if it's not listed I WON'T do it. (lol) But also I think this would help for when making the preparations for your meal throughout the week.

Pin of the Week Nov 18-25

I'm actually thinking about trying these sometime this week, and I'm betting they'll be delicious!
And again, who doesn't just LOVE potatoes!  To make them yourself you can find the recipe at: http://pagesfoodblog.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/your-new-favorite-way-to-cook-potatoes.html

Pin of the Week Nov 11-18

I know this one has been all over Pinterest, but when I saw it I fell in love.  I have a very rowdy toddler and this looks like a good idea for a time-out when one is very needed! It's like a "All -in- One Time-Out Chair"! (lol)

To learn more about this project, you check it out at (one of my fave sites and listed under the"Sites to Check Out" Page.): http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/make-your-own-sand-filled-time-out-stool-164384

Pin of the Week Nov 4-11

This is really neat!  The simplest of decor is always mirrors.  I like to pair mirrors next to other 'centered' wall decor throughout my house.  You can also do something to 'spice up' your mirror decor, like painting the edges or directly on the mirror with stencils, even glass/mirror sketching, gluing puzzle pieces, seashells, vintage jewelry pieces, etc. The list is endless, but this we've all seen something similar in stores.  Now you can DIY and the neat part is the fact it's made with with plastic spoons, who would have thought?!
For the full tutorial you can check the site at: http://www.addicted2decorating.com/how-to-make-a-decorative-chrysanthemum-mirror.html#comment-16470

Pin of the Week Oct 28-Nov 4

As much as I hate doing dishes....Yes, I should be thankful.
This is super cute, and when making your own it'll be easy to customize to your own style.  This is also cute idea for kitchen decor.  You can find more at: http://hearty-home.com/2012/12/20/love-this-i-will-never-look-at-dirty-dishes-the-same-i-want-to-frame-this-by-the-sink/

Pin of the Week Oct 21- 28

Now this looks fun, and that's if you have enough room in an area in your home to do it.  Also this would be a real cool activity to do with the family!  I was getting into genealogy last year, and that way if you really wanted to expand your tree you could start an account on ancestry.com and find real old pictures of your great, great, great (+) grandparents, it's nuts!  But just wanted to share that thought.
You can find more about this project at: http://allourdays.com/2011/12/finished-friday-hand-print-wall-hanging-christmas-game-t-shirt-necklacescarf-my-moms-beautiful-family-tree-wall-mural.html

Pin of the Week Oct 14-21

Another think I love, OWLS! I'm so happy they are becoming a new trend! They're so cute no matter the design of an owl and on what! And I SO need to make me a pair of these.  They're just adorable!
They are crocheted, and they aren't that hard to make, you can buy the pattern for $4.50, or if you are one those people who can look at something and just do it, then you're already off to a good start.  You can find everything you need to make these at: http://www.craftsy.com/project/view/ladies-owl-slippers/75354

Pin of the Week Oct 7-14

Colorful and Helpful!
I don't know about you, but this is some I REALLY need to do to my keys.  I have keys everything, and half the time they all look alike.  If I were to do this, I would also make a key chain that has a list as to what color  goes to what door or lock, etc.  You could probably use one of those little picture frame key chain and stick the 'color legend' inside until you can remember what color goes to what!  This little nifty project can be found at: http://www.abubblylife.com/2012/04/5-minute-diy-color-code-your-keys.html

Pin of the Week Sept 30 - Oct 7

Now this is just darling!  And it comes from a fellow blogger.
When checking out the blog and couldn't find a pattern or a tutorial for this cute dress. (sorry)  I'm also not sure what kind of material was used.  I'm sure with a simple dress pattern it can be done.  The details are embroidery, you can get a better look at the site here:  http://getyourcrafton.blogspot.com/search/label/All%20The%20Trend

Pin of the Week Sept 23-30

Let's try recipes!
My mom actually made these and they taste amazing!!!  Not to mention, I try to be thrifty and potatoes is always a great option!  Not to mention I love them...(lol) and I think so does everyone else pretty much, so we all win with this post!  You check out how to make them at: http://www.buzzfeed.com/peggy/25-baked-alternatives-to-potato-chips-and-french-f

They also have other types of chips you can bake as well other than just potatoes, so there are a lot more interesting recipes to see when checking out this site.  Enjoy!

CRATES! I LOVE CRATES!!! I've actually have done something similar, just not this 'big'.  I love storage! And crates make AWESOME storage places!

To find out more you visit the site, but before I give that to you I will say it is foreign.  But if you have Chrome I know at least on Chrome you can translate the site, just an FYI.  I've done some and it's not hard to do, and there's plenty of options on how you'd like to stack/put them together.

Like the new layout/design?

Yeah, me too!  First order of business, I'll be getting "Pin of the Week" up to date.  Also just because I haven't been posting doesn't mean I haven't been getting my craft on, because OH BUDDY HAVE I!!!  In the little spare time that I do have, that's what I have been doing.  So I have lots of new wonderful things to share here soon, with tutorials!  But again first I'd like to get the "Pin of the Week" on track and then we can work toward a better posting schedule!  As you have probably seen "Pin of the Week" posts on Sundays, and so far that's all I have for a schedule.... But we're getting there.  Before I get to work on the pins, I would like to share that I have another part of the "Bathroom Project" done, and cannot wait to share!!! But I want to give a tutorial so it's a process.  I hope everyone is as excited as I am, and that I'll be giving you, my viewers, some new ideas!

I think I'm in over my head....

Yes, I really think so... Mission: "Save 4-H" has to be postponed this year.  I thought I was going to start a store, but really I just don't have the time.  I'll be honest lately, I've been a complete mess.  I try to take on too much.  Normally, I would be able to be "Super, Domestic, Crafting Goddess", but I have a TODDLER!!! I'm a full-time student now.  Those two combined is A LOT!!!  So I apologize for getting people's hopes up.  I think I need to get a little more organized.  Don't lose all hope in me yet, because this post is NOT about me giving up at all!  This is about me getting my priorities straight, take the steps I need to take in order to run a successful blog, especially for my viewers!  Again I apologize for my lack of attendance to you and my blog.  Starting now, you may not see a BIG difference right away, I mean "Rome wasn't built in a day", nor a week.  I guess this is ending up to be a type of "Mission Statement"... But I am making it my mission to get this blog on track and viewers excited once again, without fail.  So here I go, and please bare with me!

The Gift for this Valentines day will have to Postponed

I need add to it, to fit his needs, but once I do I will still share, even though Valentine's Day will most likely be over it's still a phenomenal DIY Gift Idea, especial for HIM! So That'll happen within the week, because also I have another project that HAS to get done, BECAUSE I NEED ITS STORAGE, and that'll be coming soon as well!

When it comes to Making a Gift for a Guy, You Gotta Get Creative!!!

Although, this one wasn't, all lovey-dovey and Valentines-ie.  It was for him...lol

Believe it or not ALL the Ninja Turtle Sticker looking things is actually from this old self-adhesive wall paper my mom had in her basement for a crafting project she never done for years.  My fiancee, Casey, with us being born in the 80's and watching most of our cartoons throughout the 90's, you can only image he grew up on this ans is still a fan... lol

I took a smaller rather than medium art canvas, painted my background aka "the setting", then I cut out all the character/pieces in the wallpaper that I wanted to stick on the canvas to do a sort of 'collage' (collage art is sort of my strong suit, if you haven't noticed, you eventually will). When I cut out some of the piping, I stuck that on first then finished painting the rest of the piping. I had also to a empty toilet paper roll and painted it to make it just a wee-bit 3-D, and added more of a sewer look, with the HUGE sewer pipes we all imagine.  I glued it on with a hot glue gun.  I know that may sound weird to do or tricky, but really it's not.  I just done took the glue more on the inside edge, so it wouldn't seep outward to look tacky.  While it's still warm (I don't know about you but I have became immune to the hot glue guns wrath over the years), I take my nails and fingers to help squish the glue down. ( I made this back in 2010, and hasn't fell apart yet!) Then I added the rest of the wallpaper that I had cut out, and Ta-Da!  Needless, to say, he LOVED it! So, just because it may be Valentine's Day doesn't necessarily mean, it has to go along with that theme.  Do something that'll mean something much more! <3

Hershey Kiss Bouquet of Roses

Although, I don't have picture of my own for how I do mine, I will share a close enough, picture from a blog: http://www.kidactivities.net/category/Holidays-Valentine-Crafts-Art.aspx

 Materials:
6"-12" lengths (whatever your preference) of 12 gauge floral wire
 Green floral tape
 Clear cellophane
 Hot Glue Gun/ Glue sticks
 Scissors,
 Ribbon
 Hershey Kisses Milk Chocolates
***I don't use silk flowers, these can be enough of a pain in the butt as it is sometimes, but not always.

1. Hot glue 2 Hersey's kisses together at their flat bottoms of the Chocolates.
2. Insert florist wire into one pointed end of the double chocolates, twisting cellophane, continuing down the full length of wire with tape.
3. Then after you make a bouquet, gather up roses together and tie them up with a pretty ribbon of your liking to make a bow for your delicious bouquet.

*Warning: When you gift these no one ever wants to east these, because they look like they took a lot of work and they also look pretty! lol

Coming Tonight, Gifts for Him...

I will be posting this years Valentine's gift to my love and one from a few years back.  I have more but some may not be appropriate ("the love box") or they we edible (the hershey kisses bouquet) but I'll try to find someone who may have done one of these bouquets so you can see what they look like, they're real neat!!!
